Outreach Series

Representatives from area non-profits, neighborhood groups and government agencies find it easy to participate in our seven Outreach series, which cover a variety of subjects of interest to the community. In addition to expanding viewers’ knowledge about the local community, the series’ intent is to help stir interest in video production classes and the subsequent production of programming on TBCN by neighborhood and not-for-profit groups. 

Creating Your Own Job 

A TBCN series which provides information and resources on starting or expanding a business, creating business plans, securing funding, marketing, using social media, legal and licensing issues and other topics.  Viewers are provided with a listing of resources at the end of each program. Funding for this production was made possible by Hillsborough County.  To view episodes, click here.
