Representatives from area non-profits, neighborhood groups and government agencies find it easy to participate in our seven Outreach series, which cover a variety of subjects of interest to the community. In addition to expanding viewers’ knowledge about the local community, the series’ intent is to help stir interest in video production classes and the subsequent production of programming on TBCN by neighborhood and not-for-profit groups.

Tampa Bay Insiders Tampa Bay Insiders features Tampa’s movers and shakers. During a one-on-one interview recorded in our studios, those selected to be profiled have an opportunity to relay their backgrounds, interests and the issues they hold dear. It is our hope that viewers will not only learn more about what it takes to become a force in this community, but also see the merit in becoming involved themselves. We believe that by hearing other people’s stories, viewers will be encouraged to affect positive change as well.

The Scoop is a series that provides news you can use, featuring community concerns, non-profit organizations and valuable resources. In addition to finding it on our channels, The Scoop can be seen on WTTA-TV broadcast channel 38 in seven counties and over satellite television. Schedule:
University of Tampa SportsTBCN’s remote production vehicle is used to shoot men’s and women sporting events. The productions provided our viewers with quality local sports programming while it also provided volunteer community producers and UT students an opportunity to hone their sports videography skills.
