How to Become a Member

For Newcomers

Welcome to Tampa Bay Community Network where you get to make your own television programs and be the star as well. We invite you to play an active role in the growth of this important community-based media outlet and we hope that you enjoy the experience that awaits you as a member and, ultimately, as a producer.

To become a registered TBCN Member, individuals must be City of Tampa residents. They are required to take an Orientation class, read the Policy and Procedures Guide, sign the Receipt/Acknowledgement provided, pass a quiz and provide a notarized TBCN Tampa residency affidavit. Additionally, prospective members are required to complete a TBCN New Member Enrollment form and a TBCN Statement of Compliance form. A TBCN Parental Consent form must be completed if the prospective member is a minor.

When the above requirements are fulfilled, a prospective member's name and contact information are entered into our membership database, issued a TBCN identification badge and become eligible for training and certification in a variety of arenas.
